Measuring Ecosystems
Building products for ecosystems for crypto products & programs is hard...
This is a simple mental model I've used to build high-LTV/CAC, high-NPS loops that have driven over $80M value towards ecosystems..
Start thinking about these 3 things:
• Stages in the user journey in being a part of your ecosystem • programs and products you can enable • Measurables what you need to measure at different points along the way
- Awareness - How do I get users aware about my ecosystem and it's brands
- products - meetups, sponsoring events, content, ambassadors
- Measurable - signups, impressions, conversions, followers, leads
- Engagement - How do I get the best users to engage with my ecosystem
- products - hackathons, 1:many platform, fellowships, bounty campaigns, competitions
- Measurable - # attendees that complete, # of event registrations, # of visitors to my website, docs, # calls booked
- Conversion - What are the ways the user now converts/launches to our ecosystem
- products - accelerators, grants, incubators, conferences, platform
- Measurable - # of startups launching, # deals, # deal values, # grants, time to market
- Loyalty - How do I get my have my user's loyalty?
- products - ecosystem fund, partner engineering, service stacks
- Measurable - $ raised, TVL, # investor participation, Transaction volume, price action, # accounts on chain
What am I missing?
